Does anyone know if it is possible to use conditional form fields (show/hide form fields based on previous selections) with any of the GPL licensed contact form plugins? Gravity Forms does it well, but it is non GPL.

not possible with cFormsII
lots of unresolved inquiries (1, 2, 3, 4) regarding contact forms 7's capacity to handle conditional form fields, leading to believe it is not possible with that plugin either. someone even developed a fork that did it, but it has been abandoned.

It turns out that gravity IS GPL licensed. The question then is about a contact form plugin that is NOT distributed for a FEE.
