Conditional De-Register Scripts?

i tried using “wp_deregister_script” to conditionly deregister
un-needed JS files in page i dont need them – but as for now
its a no-go

i also tried remove_action to filter out
actions attached to wp_footer & wp_head
But that was also a no-go…

Can anyone (best if the plugin author)
help in the how to deregister this plugin script where
the are not needed… ??
