   Is there a way I can change the "Words of Wisdom" logo in the top right corner? Or am I even allowed to since someone else created this theme?

   that is a image.... name/location is

   blog/wp-content/themes/words-of-wisdom/images/logo.png

   if you wan to change the image (which includes the visible text) either point to a new image, or name your new image the same thing and locate it in the same place....
