What is the best backup procedure to make sure all my post, pages, titles, descriptions, meta data, all the good stuff is backed up for easy import on a new install and theme?

    Thanks

  • All that you describe above are stored in your MySQL database. You can back it up from your hosting account (phpMyAdmin) as well as using backup plugins.

Yea, I know, but I want to destroy my database and start with a clean swoop.

I want to back up all my pages, post, users, admins, and most importantly all my meta data, descriptions, and title tags

Guys, what I want to do is delete everything on my word press install including the \database and start over. I want the best way to back up all my pages, post, title tags, users, etc.. I do think I can accomplish this using the word press importer and exporter, along with doing the same on my theme. I do have some issues that I cannot quite figure out and I want to destroy it and start over, but I also want my recovery process to be as painless as can be.

I know this might nor make sense to some, but it seems easy to me., just want to make sure I back everything up, Thanks
