probably should check your permalink setup and .htaccess file. There is too little details to go on to narrow down the problem so start there and report.
This is completely incomprehensible to a non-technical user. Yes, the problem could lie in their .htaccess file or their permalink settings, but, WordPress is designed specifically for people without programming or web administration experience.
That said: @kroots, you have to provide more details with your issue. We are not wizards, we can't just magically figure out what's going on. In fact, this is what we do most of the time: http://xkcd.com/627/
So, you wouldn't just tell a car mechanic, "I dunno it just doesn't work," or tell an electrician, "I dunno my living room won't turn on." You would describe what you did to try and resolve the problem and what exactly you were seeing as far as error messages. For example: "This specific outlet won't work," or "The car makes thiiiiis sound at a specific point when it on."
