My blog name was not key word friendly so I am changing it. First question: can I use the form http://www.keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com or should I leave the "dash" out. I prefer to use the dash.
Second: I know I can have a "redirect" from my old site but can I import the "content" to the new site? When I check the "import" option as per http://codex.wordpress.org/Importing_Content#WordPress
I see blogger, moveabletype but not wordpress listed as "source options". If the issue is that my hosting company gives me WP 2.02 I would be willing to install WP 2.3 on the new site.
current address of blog is http://www.rantingbaldhippie.com

http://www.keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com
thats a domain name question. and yes you can certainly have that as a domain name, however irritating and spammy they are.
if this isnt a domain question, than what exactly do you mean by "blog name" when you used it above?

My website is a WP Blog. http://www.RantingBaldHippie.com
The new site is called http://www.middle-class-populist.com. Again the is entirely a WP Blog. The issue is how do I move the contents of the old blog to the new blog, keeping the dates and catagories.
A secondary issue was should I use the name with the dashes or without them? But the more important issue is how do I move the "contents" while keeping the dates and catagories. Both sites are remaining with the same hosting service.
