I've been designing a site for an Astronomical Society and a few of the members are asking why the IE8 compatibility icon isn't showing up. I have no clue, but they want it back. Any idea where to start?

Edit header.php in your theme and remove:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
It worked. Thanks!
I'm having the same issue using the default theme, but I'm not finding the X-UA-Compatible meta in the header.php file. Are there any other possiblities?
