I use these plugins for image / video sitemaps:

Google XML Sitemap for Images Version 2.1.3 | By Amit Agarwal http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-image-sitemap/

Google XML Sitemap for Videos Version 2.6.1 | By Amit Agarwal http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xml-sitemaps-for-videos/

I seem to recall there was, at one time, a problem with the images sitemap feature of SiteTree (?) and it was reccommended to keep it turned off (?)

What is the current status of the image sitemap feature of SiteTree?

There is currently a problem with Amit’s image sitemap plugin generating relative urls in its sitemap – I imagine that is a bug specific to the plugin itself, but I was wondering if you anticipate if there might be any problem running SiteTree and either of the above plugins together on a site?

Yoast WordPress SEO of course has a sitemap feature (which I keep turned off bcs it has been unreliable in the past and is the reason I initially arrived at using SiteTree) – SiteTree and WordPress SEO seem to play together ok; as I recall, one of SiteTree’s features is its compatibility with WordPress SEO. Any advice re the other two plugins mentioned above?

    Hi,
there are no more issues with the Image Sitemap — further improved with the latest release (1.5). The encoding problems were definitely fixed with version 1.4.3.

Its usually better to have a single sitemap to submit both URLs and Images.
I think that with version 1.6 the option to turn off the Image Sitemap will be completely removed.

I don’t know the Video Sitemap plugin you are linking but there should’t be compatibility issues.
