I've looked through the posts here and didn't come up with any good answer to my question, so if this has been discussed in the past, I apologize in advance.
I'm currently working on creating a new website for my employer and would like certain departments to have the ability to create blog posts for their newsletters. I'm just getting started with wordpress, so my experience with multisite is, well, non-exsistant. The site will not be a wordpress site, but I'm looking at incorporating wordpress for certain departments. I have uploaded, but not installed, wordpress in mysite/blog and wanted to know if its possible that when a user lands on our home page, clicks on a department that has a blog it would go to that particular blog. Department heads would have their own login to create posts for their own department. I'd like one installation, but have seen mention of using multiple installations for different departments. What is the best route? Thanks for any guidance!
