Community Driven blog? An easy way to set it up? (2 posts)

For the past few days I have been looking for something very specific, but I cannot seem to find anything that comes close to what I want to do.

I am starting a blog that will be community driven by images. I would like people to be able to register, and upload an image or a couple, wright a brief description, and submit for approval. I would then see these post, verify that they are good to post, and then "activate" them.

But I want to keep things very simple. It has to be easy, or people won't bother submitting info. So I would like a submit post form on the front page. Probably in ajax I would assume.

So from what it sounds like I'm describing would be to make the comment system the blog. Does that make sense? Simple easy form on the front page, with an upload form, and a text box. Once those get submitted, I approve them, and thats it.

I'm looking for a plugin like this one for Movable Type, but only for WP.
