Anyone use commission junction in wordpress? Looking for the easiest way to integrate ads into wordpress themes -- any plugins? hacks? tricks of the trade?

CJ makes it easy by offering SmartZones.
Just set up a SmartZone and add that code to your WP theme. Then you can just manage your ads for each SmartZone right from CJ.

Otherwise, if you're doing heavy advertising, you may want to set up something like phpAdsNew to manage 'zones' internally, and then you can use any ads from any system and slot them for certain zones, certain sizes, etc.
I've also used an array of ads (HTML per entry), and done a random-lookup into the array and then just echo the 'chosen' advert slot into the output stream. Works as a quickie banner manager. ;)
