my comments.php page on the appearance editor. I erased a tiny bit of coding and now have no idea what to do. This error message appears at the bottom of my blog posts whenever I click on the comments link:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/content/92/8446092/html/wp-content/themes/village/comments.php on line 32

    Please help!!!!

  2. Can you get a fresh copy of the theme and reinstall that file?

you will need to upload a fresh copy of comments.php to your site

Since you have access to the back end still, you can do that in the editor, just copy/paste

no, you get the fresh copy of your theme. Re-download it from wherever you got it

You can then unzip the folder on your computer, and reinstall that file to wp-content/themes/villiage using an ftp program or file manager

Or open comments.php directly on your computer (Using notepad / wordpad / some other code editor) copying the text, and pasting it in place of the broken code in the editor
