When logging in via Twitter, we're often seeing the "big W" gravatar instead of the twitter image (and these are public twitter accounts that do have a profile image)

Would be great if this could work, or even if we could override the "big W" and it gives the impression the user is associated with WordPress.

Example here: http://www.formfiftyfive.com/2013/03/bratislav-milenkovic/ - commentor "Jack" logged in with https://twitter.com/Jack_FFF

    Hi!

I had a look, and I see what you mean. Can you show me a post where someone successfully did comment using Twitter and their avatar shows up? I wonder if it's because there's a timeout that happened in fecthing the avatar from Twitter itself.

Also, I noticed that your theme uses an older version of jQuery (1.7.1), rather than the one that comes with WordPress (1.8.3). I'd suggest changing the theme so that is uses the one from WordPress to avoid other potential issues that could crop up.

    Thanks for the reply!

I've updated JQuery now, thanks for spotting that.

Here's a comment (from Brad Woodard) that did manage to fetch the gravatar: http://www.formfiftyfive.com/2013/03/sara-morris/

    Hi!

So I left a test comment using my Twitter account on that post, and it does seem to have fetched my avatar. So either this was a problem with Twitter timing out, or maybe even related to the old jQuery version. If it happens again, definitely let me know!
