   The comments section on posts in my theme hasn't upgraded to include Twitter and Facebook integration. Is this normal? If not, could someone post the code that I should be using to include a comments section so I can see if I've done something wrong?

   I'm looking for the same thing but my understanding is this feature is for wordpress.com users and not .org.

   See this link. Apparently this functionality might be added to the jet pack plugin at some point.

   I don't understand why these great features for both .org and .com aren't implemented on both wordpress formats.

   I just spent a tonne of time trying to figure this out too! Does anyone know if this option is now available?

   It's not available yet, you may want to try disqus, it's a comment plugin where users can select to comment by using either google, twitter, facebook,yahoo or disqus
