Comments Too Small (6 posts)

    The comments on our site are coming through really small, see here:

    I'm pretty sure the problem is the the font sizes are all basically inherited from the body declaration:

    body { background: #fff; color: #444; font: 63.5% Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif; text-align: center; }

    I tried fooling with that setting but of course it changes sizes globally. Anyone else have this issue? Fastest way to solve it??

    ol.commentlist li {} is what you should look for in the CSS. That is the code will control just hte font size for comment posts.

    The closest I can find is:

    ul.comment_list { list-style: none; margin-bottom: 40px; border-top: 1px dotted #bbb; float: left; }

    ul.comment_list li, ul.comment_list li.alt, ul.comment_list li.author_comment_, ul.comment_list li.author_comment_alt { width: 480px; padding: 15px 10px 5px 10px; border-bottom: 1px dotted #bbb; float: left; }

    ul.comment_list li.alt, ul.comment_list li.author_comment_alt { background: #f5f5f5; }

    And when I add font-size it doesn't work -- ?

    You have a bigger problem there than the font sise. All the comment body and its date are displayed in a tiny narrow column on the right - at least in FF.

    Ugh, didn't realize -- I'm on vacation (supposedly), away from my main workstation, no FF on this computer. That's terrible news.
    I'm using a plain old WordPress theme, Press Row -- haven't altered anything that would have anything to do with the comments (?!)

    I took a quick look at the source code and style.css - seemingly the class names used in the HTML markup and the class names defined in the stylesheet don't really match, at least in the "comment styles" section.

    Definitely there is something wrong there...
