Comments showing as anonymous instead of blog reader name

Hi, I am currently having problems with my blog comments. Any someone comments on my blog it shows anonymous as the name instead of the readers name.
I have checked my blog settings and plug-ins but it’s still having the same problem.
Please I need help to resolve this problem because it’s affecting my blog.
