Hi all!
Ok, here is my issue...
Ok, last month, I made the migration from about 10 single installation of wordpress to wordpress mu for our site. (a cultural newspaper where every journalist have his own blog.)
I had no problem. Everything works well.
But, in the wordpress single user installation, I used to display the last 10 comments for each category with an RSS feed.
wathever.com/?cat=XX&feed=rss2&withcomments=1
from what I can tell, this feed doesn't work on my wordpress mu installation... No matter if I try it on my main blog or any subdomain blogs.
I tought this problem could be relative to my MU migration...
But but but... While asking google god about this problem, I found the Ryan Boren's Blog whom explain the "feed everywhere" feature for wordpress 2.2 wich include the possibility to get the comments feed from a category:
http://boren.nu/archives/2007/02/25/in-the-trunk-2/
But, If I follow the link on his page, it leads to a "page not found"... The same problem that I have... :
http://boren.nu/archives/category/wordpress/comments/feed/?withcomments=1
Of course, Ryan uses the last version of WP...
So, I would guess my problem is not relative to the migration to MU, but with the upgrade to 2.7 I did in the same time. Seems to me that the comments feed for a category has been lost in the upgrade...
I also did a test on a single user installation with the last version and I have the same issue...
Anyone is aware of this issue in 2.7 ?
Could you test this feature on your intallation ?
Just try this link on your site (with 2.7 WP) with a category ID wich you know have some comments :
yourdomain.com/?cat=XX&feed=rss2&withcomments=1
I just wonder if it works for someone...
Thanks
S.
