comments popup link adds space between link and #respond

I have encountered a strange problem on this site: http://www.securefreak.com/

Notice that the ‘No comments yet’ and ‘1 comment’ links insert a space character.

Example: http://www.securefreak.com/remove-jquery-cycle-and-ngg-slideshow-from-nextgen-gallery/%20#respond

I can not figure out why. Disabled all plugins and went back to default wordpress theme and the problem still persists.

I have other wordpress sites hosted on this server and this issue does not happen on them.

Anyone have any ideas where to look?
