I contacted my host in order to get some more information. They said it’s outside of their help zone (obviously) but suggested that it might be an issue with my theme. I changed my theme to one that has been recently updated and the comments are still not workingon my most recent post (despite being enabled in settings).
I can comment from the dashboard (edit post) on my own post, but when I go to the post page as a regular user would see it, it says that the comments are closed.
If anyone has any further suggestions, I’m open to trying anything that might fix the issue. Thanks!

My latest post doesn’t have any comment form available to fill out. It says “leave a comment” at the top, but doesn’t lead to anything other than the bottom of the post (where there is no comment form). I’ve updated everything possible and I’ve checked all of my settings, yet there doesn’t seem to be anything abnormal other than the lack of a comment form.
