I'm using the theme plaintxtBlog, which I've customized pretty extensively. The only thing I haven't editorialized is any PHP. But for some reason, even when I have a page marked to except comments, the comment feature isn't working AT ALL. Not even showing up on the page. I've tried overwritting comments.php with a new file from another theme: nothin'. Been digging away at these for the better part of the day. Anyone know what gives?

by default most themes only show the comment box on single post pages
I didn't see any posts, so...
do you want a comment box in your pages? or what?
