This is the standard behaviour for WordPress sites. The comment box is only available on the single Post or Page – not on archive (Post listing) pages.

but shouldn’t there be a link to the comments on the front page?
If not, how do I make this appear?
Click the title of the post and it takes you to a single page where you can post comments. Or click “Post a Comment” at the bottom of each post.

Well I made it say “Post a Comment” but I wanted the number of comments to show up under the title..

There is. It’s labelled “Post a Comment”

Again, I made it say that. I changed it from “read more” to “Post a comment” What I am looking for is the number of comments to show up under the post title.

I have read through every article and can’t seem to figure it out.
My entire posts are showing, but you can’t see the comments/comment box unless you click the title and go to the post page.
