Comments not imported for Post that wasn't initially enabled for comments

So far I haven’t seen a 100% success rate for comments being imported into WordPress from Facebook and I’m trying to go through all the use-cases to solve them all.

I found a post that I had published on WP and posted out on Facebook. On Facebook I had 10’s of comments but when I opened the post I saw no comments shown, but in fact I found the comments wasn’t even enabled for that post.

So it was my fault for somehow unticking the ‘allow comments’ box on the post obviously.

I thought I could rectify this by ticking ‘Allow Comments’ and then saving. And then I went to manually import comments through the plugins settings but it imported 0 comments.

Is this an expected scenerio?
