    Hi,
I've been searching around but got swamped in the comments plugins that are available out there.
I would like to know if there is a plugin that shows a line with name and text.
To give you an impression here is an image of what I'm talking about.
Anybody that can help me out?

    TIA and happy holidays!

thats just a recent comments plugin.

    Plugin Name: Recent Comments
    Plugin URI: http://mtdewvirus.com/code/wordpress-plugins/
Description: Retrieves a list of the most recent comments.

    will do that.

nothing too difficult and probably why no-one has replied.

the style aka "small text line" is all done by YOU; the plugin, and the other ones like it, just spit out the data.

You will probably not find one that formats things exactly as you want. Thats what CSS is for, <begin rant> and why the willingness to get a simple grasp of CSS is so emphasized on these forums. <end rant>

    :)

    Thanks Whooami,

I'll have another look at the recent comments plugin, I thought this was another plugin I didn't know of yet that made it possible to have name and text without much ado in configurations :)

And as for you CSS rants :) having sleepless nights over it, not your rants but the simple grasp of CSS combined with trying to create a new theme from scratch, but I'm getting there!

P.s. what ever happened to your lovely theme, the brownish one before this one, I loved it!

    > what ever happened to your lovely theme, the brownish one before this one,

that old thing?? :P its in a zipped up backup on my hdd. :)

    > I loved it!

thanks! me too! I just needed a change, Im guessing youve discovered that "we" look at our blogs more than everyone else so we tire quicker of whatever is there. :)

PS: the CSS rant was really for everyone/anyone who reads this, not directed at you or your post, as some ppl tend to get frustrated when they hear they might have to 'learn' something :P

"the CSS rant was really for everyone/anyone who reads this, not directed at you or your post"

I know, and I didn't take it personally.

"some ppl tend to get frustrated"

I must say, CSS is even more difficult than I thought, than again I'm from the old category: Frontpage..no no don't hit me :)

***walks over to the CSS and DOCS department in shame ;)***
