Comments link not working

I recently switched to a new theme and the disqus comments link on a post where it says ‘view comments’ is linked properly to #disqus_thread but it does nothing when clicked. When hovered it says “<span class=”. I tried removing the title="<span class=" tag and got the link to work with firebug. Which files should be edited to fix this?
