Comments in 2.7: Odd an Even (3 posts)

I've modified my theme in order to implement new comments enhacements.

All works fine: threaded, respond to, etc., but now I want to change the style to difference between an even & odd comment —my functions.php already has got the callback function.

    Any idea?

Here are two articles on zebra striping HTML tables using jQuery (Zebra striping means odd-even styling distinctions). You are styling a series of divs not table rows but it is the same principle.

jQuery is a very easy way to do this. It dynamically adds an odd - even class to the Div's, and you add styling to your css sheet for how to style class odd and class even

I need a simple way to do it.

The even & odd classes are still obscure.

    :-(
