    Hi,
The first blog I wrote several people were able to leave comments and now only one person I know has been able to leave them.

When you go to the site http://www.btsphotos.com and try to leave a comment it redirects to the same blog entry on a gray screen but wont let you leave a comment.
I'm not sure what I am looking at when I go into the php theme editor so if anyone can give me some advice I would truly appreciate it.

    thank you
    tishia

You need to do something about the size of your image files. They take forever to load. Very annoying.

I have resized them and made them smaller. My screen shows a normal picture, but my desk top shows an enormous photo. Know what I can do to fix this?

ok, your pictures are still huge.

I think that what you have done is to change the size that the image is displayed on the page, rather than change the actual image file itself.

What you need to do is to open the original image files on your computer, resize them, and then reupload them to the site.

I've done this and same issue. Can you look at the most recent blog post? It looks normal on my screen. its at the lowest quality and it is taking forever to upload the site. any suggestions?

You just don't seem to get it.
Here is the data about your very first image:

    Filesize - 272.07 KB (278596 bytes)
    Dimensions - 2400px × 3000px (scaled to 450px × 563px)

    http://btsphotos.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/ccook8.jpg
    This is a HUGE image.

What everybody was trying to tell you: open the image in an image editor on your computer, resize them and after that re-upload them.

I have resized the photos. I don't know how else to do it. I have made them small and low quality to help with uploading. I am using photoshop cs2 any suggestions?

    Is this small for you?
    2400px × 3000px

Small means something like 400-500px wide; no wider than your content div in the blog!
