   So I've got an idea that I'd love to solve. I would like my comments from a video posted on Vimeo to also show up on a corresponding post on my blog/portfolio site. There is a WP Plugin to achieve this with YouTube which can be found below:

   I have been told that Vimeo's API allows for comment retrieval and was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction to re-engineer this YouTube plugin to achieve the same effect with Vimeo.

   Has there been any progress on this or a plug-in created? We use Vimeo as our main source to upload/play videos and would love to have this. Thanks...

   TubePress just came out with Vimeo support. Though it doesn't yet meet your exact requirements, it may be of interest to you otherwise. You can also submit a feature request.
