   Hi folks,

   I'm hoping someone can help me here. i've spent hours on this and have refreshed loads of my template files to make sure it's not them.. and this is the deal

   I'm using a very modified version of twenty-ten - which i've relabelled throughout so it doesn't get overwritten etc.. (I know.. I could have used child themes.. but I didn't)..

   anyway.. for some reason.. I cannot get comments to show up on my blog posts .. I've got comments enabled in the settings|discussion I've got comments enabled on each individual post.. I can get the comments box to show on my PAGES.. by uncommenting some code i've commented out in page or loop or comments or something (can't remember which..)

   but still.. I can't get the "comments off" to go away on the blog.

   you can go to the blog page and see that it says comments off.. I've tried so many things and am at my wits end.

   any help is very appreciated!

   Standard three things first to rule out the basics. Have you tried it with the default theme (I did see you say you loaded tons of themes again, but just asking), no plugins and are you running the latest version of WordPress ?

   Hi Snat - Thanks for your reply,

   yes.. I've tried reverting to the original twenty 10 - no luck, I've turned off the few plugins I have (only - wp-table-reloaded and "latest posts") - and I'm running 3.2.1 which is up to date and such.

   I thought reverting to the original theme would work actually - everything I've read had led me to believe that my problem was probably theme-related.. but even the original didn't show comments on the blog posts page
