Please share the url so we can check it.
Well… unfortunately that would be impossible to check on our side. Seems like from some reason your comments theme selection is not being saved.
Hi there,
I have added the plugin but there are not ratings on the comments Check a link here: http://blog.traveltoeastafrica.com/uganda/africa-safari-holidays-best-tourist-destinations.html
Have i missed anything?
You’re using a third party comment system. That system has its own rating system.
The Rating-Widget may not work with third party commenting systems like Disqus.
Hi @AfricaTravelGuide, as @polilive mentioned the Rating-Widget comments only works with native WordPress comments. DISQUS is not supported for now.
I’m having the same problem with the ratings not appearing for comments (thumbs up/down doesn’t work either).
I’ve tried deactiving all other plugins and switching themes but nothing seems to work.
I’m new to this so probably doing something daft but I’d appreciate your help.
My website is http://www.myrecipebook.co.uk
Thanks
Hi @myrecipebookuk, can you please share a link to a post with a comment on your site?
Sorry, I may not not have been clear. It’s not offering the ability to rate the post whilst writing a comment. It should be active for the following post. http://myrecipebook.co.uk/sauces/peppercorn-sauce/
My site’s very new so I don’t have any actual comments yet but I would have expected to see the place to give the post a star rating in the comments box and I can’t (I’ve tried logging out in case it doesn’t appear because I’m logged in as an admin and it doesn’t make a difference).
@myrecipebookuk the RatingWidget will show the ratings in the comments once there will be ratings. The rating is for other visitors to rate the comments/posts/pages quality. Hope it’s clear now.
Looks like I was trying to get the plugin to do something it’s not designed for. Thanks for your help and the quick response
