   My friend upgraded her WP to 2.8.2, which is when this problem started. Comments are not working (when posting a comment, they redirect to a blank page - /wp-comments-post.php#comment- ), and spam comments cannot be deleted. I've tried everything I can think of so far to fix this problem.

   (1) reinstalled 2.8.2 through the auto installer
   (2) reinstalled 2.8.2 manually
   (3) disabled all plugins
   (4) switched to the default theme
   (5) downgraded to 2.8
   (6) downgraded further to 2.7 when 2.8 also didn't work

   I tested the comments after each step, and the problem still occurs. She upgraded her other blog to 2.8.2 without this problem occurring.

   This is a serious issue and I can't find anything anywhere... she's getting desperate. Please.... anything.

   Finally figured out the problem. Something was wrong with wp_comments, so I ran a repair on it, and problem fixed.
