Comments DB error

    Upgraded a few days ago. I get this message on my Admin page:

    WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYI’ (errno: 144)]
    SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = ‘0’

    WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYI’ (errno: 144)]
    SELECT COUNT(comment_ID) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = ‘spam’

    When I go to the Plugin page to disable plugins to see if that solves the problem I get this message after clicking on ‘Deactivate’:

    Any suggestions?
