comments customization – don’t show http:// if not url entered?

    i was able to change my comments.php around a little bit so that the author link does not lead to his url. Instead the url is shown below the author as just text. But if the author does not have a url entered in, it will just show http://
    how can i just not show the http:// if not url is entered in for a comment?
