   Very basic problem, probably requires a complex solution...

   Anways, what I want to do is have the comment content start on the same line as the comment author/whatever. But sadly, if I strip Auto Paragraph tags out of the comments content (so it sits on the same line) as other content, it automatically removes all line breaks. Meaning people can't type paragraphs, which I forsee as problematic in the future.

   Is there anyways to keep the P tags (or even enclose comment content in a different tag) from starting on a new line while keeping line breaks intact?

   You could try a CSS approach and use the :first-child pseudo class to strip the top margin and padding off the first <p> tag and re-position it.
