   Comments are being shown as disabled although I am allwoing comments for all posts. Comments are still allowed on my pages however.

   Afaik this was working fine in wordprss 2.7.1. I only noticed the problem today after I upgraded some of my plugins and after adding OIOPublisher plugin but it could have happened before all this as I hadn't looked at my blog for a couple of weeks.

   Anyone any ideas?

   Looks like this is specific to the Ikarus theme.

   I see others are having the same issue since the upgrade to WordPress 2.8.

   i have found a work-around to the comments issue! a plug in, check out my personal blog and go to any article and the answer is there.
