    I know that i have the code <?php comments_template(); ?> in my single.php template. But wondering why the comments window isn't enabled in my posts and seeing "Comments are Closed" below the posts. Here's the link to my site ApplyPromoCode.com

    Your help is appreciated.

    Allow/Disallow comments on specific page:

    - Where you create/edit posts or pages in admin, check if you have ticked comments for your posts/pages in the "discussion" box below the editor. If you don't see the "discussion" box there, in the 'screen option' dropdown field (located near the top right), there are tickboxes to show the 'discussion' box for the posts/pages. Tick mark it. In the 'discussion' box below the post/page editor, you can then allow/disallow comments for the page.

    Go to wordpress admin dashbord

    Settings->Discussion
    and enable comments for your posts (Allow people to post comments on new articles ) and modify some other options as needed.
    You can also turn on or off comments for individual posts when you create them or update them.
