    Can some one tell me how I can remove the comments option from my site for now? Just to make the posts neater until we get to use the comments?

    Have you tried simply dis-allowing comments via Settings->Discussion?

    Hi, Thanks. I have unchecked anything to do with comments on the discussion section of the setting but the comment boxes or clouds are still on the site.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Thanks esmi. I’ll have a go at changing these and let you know.
