   When I submit a comment, I get a 404 error with a strange URL:
   

   http://www.andrewklavan.com/%5Ehttp://72.73.40.118/$

   Can anyone tell me why, when I try to post a comment, an IP address gets tacked onto the end of the URL and the comment never goes up at all? Is this a WordPress issue or an issue with my host?

   Could be a number of things. Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
