Hi I am trying to change this: Comment on ______ - Be the first to comment, to Comment. Does anyone know how to do this, I looked in the source (index.php) and found the following code:
    <p class="postmetadata"> <strong>Comments:</strong> <a href="http://blog.filmn.co.uk/?p=35#respond" title="Comment on WordPressDash">Be the first to comment</a>

However i do not know were its placed and also I want to change it for the whole blog so I dont have to change the line to Comment all the time.

    Thanks.

Back up a step. What is the change you'd like to see? A wording change? From what to what?

If so, you'd want to edit your theme's index.php (blogdirectory/wp-content/themes/ThemeName/index.php)

ok, then my second paragraph sums it up. You'll just want to modify that in your theme file(s).
