    Hi guys,
I'm working on a new wordpress blog and I'm using twenty ten theme on it.
For this new blog I didn't want the header image, so what I did was I commented out the whole header image code in the header.php in my child theme. It goes something like this:

[code moderated per forum rules - please use the pastebin for any code over 10 lines]

I was able to remove the header image from the theme but what I want to know: is it the right way to do this task ?

I mean, I got what I wanted but still wanna know that in future if I want to remove some functionality then should I go on like this and comment-out the unwanted code in the child theme ?

    Thanx :)
