Commenting HTML in Page

    Hello,
    I am not sure if this is a Vantage specific question or a more generic WordPress question.
    In the contents of a Page, why can’t I use the standard HTML Comment tags <!– –> ? When I use these, the Page displays with nothing in the content area even though only certain parts of the content are commented. I can use other HTML tags in the Page content area and they work fine.
