Commenter count and WP comment tables (3 posts)

I'm wanting to run a contest for people who help answer reader's questions via the comments, giving a prize to those who answer the most. Which has sent me down the rabbit hole of top commenter plugins. I installed one which puts the list in the sidebar, which works well where someone has a unique name. But when I try to find which "John" left 10 comments, well, it got harder. So I found another plugin which shows how many comments each person has made in the admin panel. But the numbers don't match!

So, barring any other bright ideas anyone may have, I was wondering about downloading the WP comments table and trying to extract the data from there, but I don't see an option for that in CPanel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you get to PhpMyAdmin from CPanel?

Else, you can always get all the results in WordPress itself, using WP_Query:
