I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find an answer. When you get a spam comment what is the difference between marking it as spam or deleting it. If you mark it as spam it keeps the comment under the spam tag, but what is the advantage of that? I thought that if you spam a comment then it would automatically block additional ones coming from same ip, but it doesn’t do anything. So what is the advantage of tagging a comment as spam instead of deleting it? Thanks in advance for your help.
