• Hi all,

I’ve been working on a personal project in which I’m using WordPress as the backend CMS. So far, my intentions are only that of creating a blog, possibly expanding further in the future.

So far everything’s worked out great. The design is looking good and the coding is coming along awesome, with both Firefox and Internet Explorer co-operating and rendering the website nicely!

Except for one area… my user comments!

When there is too much text, it tends to flow out of the content box with the background image stopping its repeat pattern after a certain point. Surprisingly enough, Internet Explorer renders it perfectly! I’m having this problem in Firefox (which I still find hard to believe myself!)

Anyway, I’ve produced a link showing you screenshots of the problem (in Firefox) and how it looks in Internet Explorer (perfect!), along with both the CSS and PHP coding for it.

I would appreciate any help I could receive. Many thanks in advance!

  • No CSS is visible on any pictures… so don’t expect miracles. Or a solution.

Sorry, but I think you may have missed the links towards the right of the page I’ve linked to. Both are links to relevant CSS and PHP coding. ^__^

Maybe you missed that most of the helpers are using FF and DevToolbar which makes possible to view and EDIT the stylesheet on the fly (not jpg BS) to find the offending code and/or try out their suggested solution.

Woah, I’m sorry if I did something wrong. I’m not a regular here and I was just trying to show my problem in a presentable manner.

To be quite honest, I didn’t expect such rash responses from anyone in this community, especially those with the title of a moderator. Everytime I’ve asked for help, people have provided it and got me through with their solutions in such a friendly way, that this was pretty much unexpected.

I’m sorry for asking for any help, I’ll try elsewhere.
