   This is my very first blog and so my first go at WordPress. It is and always will be, I suppose, a work in progress. I would appreciate comments on the design, taking into consideration the content subject.

   Um.. It looks like you are using the default Kubrick theme.

   Perhaps you didn't activate your new theme?
