Hey Gang,
Is anyone else experiencing issues where comment notification emails have ceased? We're using WP 3.0.1. I have tested with all plugins disabled, and have tested using the default theme - nothing seems to work.
Best I can tell, all comment notification emails stopped around 9/24 ... so just over a month ago.
I do still receive a SpamKarma notification email, but that's it. I've contacted my host, but wonder if it's anything else that is more widespread?

Make sure this field is enabled in:
admin>>>>settings>>>>Discussion>>>>Before a comment appears
An administrator must always approve the comment

That option is NOT checked because I have the other one checked "Comment author must have a previously approved comment". most of our comments are from returning visitors who have a history commenting on the site, and I don't want every single comment held in moderation.
I have the other two options checked above that, though:
Email me whenever:
anyone posts a comment (checked)
a comment is held for moderation (checked)
These are the same settings I've had for a very long time ...
