   I am not receiving email notification when a comment is added to a post. Not exactly sure when this stopped functioning.

   Any ideas?

   Were you able to get this fixed? I have the same problem.

   make sure you've selected the option in >Settings >Discussions.
   make sure you've provided the right email address.

   make sure in comment notifications are in your spam box.

   Checked everything.

   I am using the SMTP plugin which was working fine. The test email by this plugin is also working right, but the comment notification email stopped. The only change I had done was upgraded to 2.8.4
   I am badly in need of some solution
