Comment, no website.

    I have been looking through a lot of plugins. Couldn’t find it anywhere, but I am wondering if you could help me to either find or point me out in the template to remove the “Website Url” on the comments, because I am tired of everyone spamming their websites. Every time I click their username, it takes them to their website. Now, I want that gone. I’d like for their own name but not linkable? To their website.

    Plugin would be easier than editing out in the template.

    This forum don’t have edit option to edit my post?

    Anyway, another thing. I’d like to know if there’s a way to turn off e-mail required.

    Turning off email required should be in settings – discussion.

    The other bit will depend on what you’re using. In 2.7 you can change the reference to wp_list_comments to use a custom piece of code to display each comment. This codex page describes that process.
