   I was trying to see if multiple comments were from the same ip address when I noticed something strange. ALL of the ip address (even the ones where I posted) are the same. Does anyone have any idea why that is happening and (more importantly) how do I fix it?

   No, its likely an issue with where you are hosted. Thats a dns issue, or your site is proxied, or something...

   Buts thats now a WP issue, and it doesnt have anything to do with file permissions.

   Does that mean that WP is working on correcting that problem? or was that a typo and you meant to type "not" instead of "now?"
