Comment Form Issues – Blue Zinfandel Theme

I am having trouble getting my comments and comment form to appear correctly.

My comments should look like these – http://www.briangardner.com/demos/?p=9#comments

But they look like this –
http://www.burlesonisd.net/it/wordpress/?p=11#comments

I have tried to alter the comment text area columns, the CSS…etc. and cannot get them to work.
