Is there a way to make the text fields in the comments.php file non required? I thought I found the php next to each required field that causes the error page if you do not fill in a required field, but I removed that php and it still brings the user to the error page if they don't fill one in.

Is there a way to allow for no name, and no email to be filled in, and wordpress will just set their name as guest or anonymous so that any visitor can post a comment if they don't want to fill in their info?

    Thanks.

Settings/Discussion. Untick "Comment author must fill out name and e-mail".
